Terms of Use
Last updated 4 October 2026
By using laptopquiz.co.uk (“LaptopQuiz”), you agree to these terms. If you don’t agree, please don’t use the site.
General guidance, not advice
LaptopQuiz recommends laptops based on your answers and on product information we gather from manufacturers and other sources. It’s general guidance to help you shortlist, not professional advice. We work to keep the information accurate, but manufacturers change specifications, configurations and availability without notice, and mistakes happen. Always check the product listing before you buy.
Prices and availability
We don’t show prices. Prices, stock and delivery are set by Amazon and its sellers and can change at any time. A laptop that fitted your budget yesterday may not today.
Purchases and other websites
Some links are affiliate links (see our affiliate disclosure). Anything you buy on Amazon or another site is between you and that seller, under their terms, and your consumer rights apply to them. We aren’t responsible for third-party sites, their products, prices, delivery or returns.
No warranties
The site is provided “as is” and “as available”. To the extent the law allows, we make no promises that it will be accurate, complete, uninterrupted or right for your particular needs.
Limitation of liability
Nothing in these terms limits liability that can’t be limited by law. Otherwise, LaptopQuiz and its operators aren’t liable for any indirect or consequential loss, or any loss arising from your use of the site or your reliance on its recommendations.
Intellectual property
The site’s design, text, quiz and compiled data belong to LaptopQuiz. You may link to any page and share your results. You may not copy the database or scrape the site in bulk. Brand names and trademarks belong to their owners and are used only to identify products.
Acceptable use
Don’t try to disrupt the site, overload it with automated requests or access it in ways that bypass its normal interface.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. If you live elsewhere in the UK, you may also be able to bring a claim in your local courts.
Changes
We may update these terms. The date above shows when they last changed, and continuing to use the site means you accept the current version.
